Our 2 night stay at Skyline Cabins was exceptional! The owners were friendly, warm, and accommodating. They upgraded our cabin, which was cozy, quiet, and clean. The wifi connection was fast, and the location was good with shops and a restaurant within walking distance. The cottage had great cooking facilities, a full-sized fridge and stove, and a nice outdoor patio for entertaining.
I recommend this hotel.

The central location of the cabins is a major advantage, as it provides easy access to restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, and beautiful sandy beaches and trails. Guests also appreciated the clean rooms with comfortable beds, the availability of a fridge and microwave, and the graciousness of the owner in providing helpful information.
Some guests mentioned that the walls were thin and they could hear their neighbors talking.

Skyline Cabins in Ingonish provided great value for our money. The room was clean, updated, and had all the amenities we needed, including a mini-fridge and a grill outside. The location was perfect, being centrally located near attractions and restaurants, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
The morning meal could have been improved with some basic utensils and dishes available in the cabin. It would have been more convenient to have these provided, especially when using the outdoor grill.

The only thing that could have been better was breakfast choices.

The bed was very comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. The covered deck was a lifesaver during a heavy downpour, allowing us to still enjoy the outdoors. The grounds and surrounding area were beautiful, offering plenty of opportunities for walks and exploration.
There weren't many restaurants in the area that were open during our stay in October. We had to rely on the BBQ on the property and buying our own provisions for meals.

The cabin was clean and well furnished, and the host was very friendly and helpful. the barbecue facilities in front of the cabin were a great addition for a cozy Christmas dinner. the location was also perfect, being close to the beach and offering easy access to the nearby national park.
The cabin lacked a cooking plate, which would have been convenient for preparing meals. there were some minor issues, such as a shortage of hot water and a lack of amenities like a hair dryer and enough irons for all guests.

Clean and brand new cabins with comfortable beds and a private covered patio. The shared bathroom was the cleanest I have ever seen in a hotel. The location was fantastic, close to the national park visitor center and hiking trails.
It would have been nice to have a shared indoor seating area as the inside of the cabins felt a bit tight and cramped. , the availability of food dropped off during the week following Labour Day, which was a bit disappointing.

The location was great, just a short walk to a restaurant for breakfast and close to the starting point of the Cabot Trail. We also appreciated the environmentally conscious practices of the hotel.
Nothing that we didn't like.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay at Skyline Cabins. We were able to enjoy a scenic drive along the curvy section of Cabot Trail, and the cabin's proximity to Cape Breton Highlands National Park made it convenient for exploring. The room itself was spacious, quiet, and beautifully decorated. We especially loved meeting Cramer, the friendly family dog. The nearby restaurant offered delicious food at reasonable prices, and the owners were helpful and friendly. The easy-to-follow highway signs made finding the hotel a breeze. The peaceful mountain views, cleanliness, and friendly staff made our stay unforgettable. We will definitely be returning.
Can recommend this hotel.
